Student Cooking - More than beans on toast!

Are you worrying about your child moving out? Heading to university or or into their own home?

No need to worry about them not eating properly with this 3 day course that will take them through the basics of cooking and will provide them with a new skill set to impress their friends.

On the course they will learn basic knife skills, how to chop an onion, boil pasta, make a basic tomato sauce, make rice, cook vegetables, cook a chicken, bake a potato, all about eggs (scrambled, boiled omelette and poached), make a salad, brown mince,  and how to stay safe in the kitchen.

The course is over 3 days from 11am till 3.30pm each day.  Each day they will learn new skills, make their own lunch and will have prepared dished to take home at the end of each day.

What's included:

  • All ingredients
  • Use of equipment & aprons
  • Lunch each day and a dinner to take away
  • A recipe booklet including tips and hints on staying safe in the kitchen
  • Carry home containers for take away food.
  • Soft drink with lunch
