The Larder is clearly defined as and operates and markets itself as - a social enterprise. It aims to become self-sufficient through a range of enterprise initiatives, including:
Training Academy – Training and Employability services for the hospitality sector
Cook School - leisure cookery classes and social evenings, for all ages, commercially priced
Food Enterprise Projects - café/bistro, micro bakery, food production unit, providing training, work experience placements and creating jobs.
Social Food – addressing food poverty by equalising access to food and the social activities related to it.
